The proposals will significantly enhance the natural realm which is isolated and presents an opportunity for enhancement, within and outside the site. Its location along the waterfront and size will present the opportunity to enjoy and use the facilities and street furniture on the site. This is especially important in the post-Covid pandemic city recovery and the changing lifestyles.
Blue Network
The waterfront will be reactivated with the use of piers and floating areas. These will include floating gardens, seating areas and a café activating the site. The varied uses allow all to enjoy the site's extensive blue network, a previously undervalued asset. The heritage buildings and enhanced green space provide an ideal background for the waterfront
